  Nice and quiet place to stay. Room was clean and staff friendly. The light in my room flicked occasionally but otherwise everything else was good.

  My sister was airlifted to prince of wales hospital from Port Macquarie. We arrived here in Sydney, and had no idea where we would stay or what we would do. We found Alison Lodge on the internet so decided to call. We could not be happier. We got an ensuite room with a large double bed and a single bed. The room was very clean and spacious and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the shower had great water pressure and was nice and hot. The premises were lovely and clean. Downstairs there is a kitchen/laundry with 2 microwaves, a sandwich press, crockery, cutlery along with a coin operated washer and dryer. This proved extremely useful as we only had a couple of sets of clothes. There is an undercover patio down stairs with tables and chairs where you can sit and eat a meal or enjoy a tea /coffee. The close proximity to the hospital, supermarkets and eateries made it a great location to stay. We paid a small daily fee for onsite parking which was fantastic. As for the staff, we could not have hoped for more friendly or accomodaing people. They went out of their way to help in every way possible and were always polite, smiling and friendly. Our room was cleaned and sheets changed during our six day stay. Thanks to the staff at Alison Lodge for making us comfortable during such a traumatic time in our life. I would recommend Alison Lodge to everyone.

  Alison Lodge was very clean and comfortable. The room was very cosy, but the bed was beautifully made up and I was pleased to find I had tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge in the room, which I hadn't thought was included. Staff were friendly, approachable and accommodating, as I arrived after hours. Would definitely stay again.

  Booked for a room with ensuite when we arrived we were put in a very small room no ensuite tried to explain wanted ensuite receptionist didn't want to know about it when we checked out the same thing happened to another person checking in this is more a back packers lodge will recommend high cross park better rooms location & friendly staff
